According to online reports, including one quoted by The Times of India, Thalapathy Vijay is said to have scored 711 out of 1100 in his Class 10 public examinations. The score gives him 64.6%, placing him in the First Class category. The mark sheet suggests a mixed academic performance, with clear strengths in some subjects and weaker scores in others.

Reportedly, the superstar scored the highest in Science with 206 out of 300. He also appears to have performed reasonably well in Tamil and English. In Social Science, he is listed as having scored 122 out of 200. Mathematics, however, appears to be his lowest-scoring subject, with 95 out of 200.

During his academic years, Vijay later joined Loyola College to pursue a course in Visual Communication. However, he eventually dropped out and entered the film industry after developing a fascination for acting.

While the actor’s mark sheet has gone viral on social media, the authenticity of the scorecard has not been verified, and it remains unclear whether it is genuine or not.

Thalapathy Vijay’s work front

Thalapathy Vijay is next expected to star in the action drama Jana Nayagan. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film follows the story of Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former police officer and convict who adopts a young girl named Viji and becomes determined to raise her as a strong and independent woman. He even encourages her to join the military despite her fear of violence.

Amid these developments, a grave threat looms over India,  one that could potentially lead to widespread destruction. As Vetri Kondan finds himself caught in these circumstances, a personal vendetta emerges, forcing him to take matters into his own hands and expose the system responsible for triggering the crisis.

Apart from Vijay, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Sunil in key roles. The film’s music and background score are composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The film was initially slated for release on January 9, 2026, but due to the unavailability of a censor certificate, it has remained stuck in release limbo. Even after the movie was reportedly leaked online, the makers are still expected to release it soon, with rumors suggesting a significant change to the actor’s title card.
